It started with a dare
and a broken whisk.
In 2019, someone bet our founder she couldn't make a rainbow cake that tasted good. She took it personally.
Your Name
I never planned to start a bakery. I was a [your previous career] with a sweet tooth and a colour addiction. But when that first batch of rainbow cupcakes sold out in 40 minutes on Instagram, I knew boring wasn't going to cut it.
Bloom is built on one belief: food should make you smile before you even taste it. If it doesn't look like a party, it doesn't leave this kitchen.
Today we're a team of [number], working out of a proper studio in [Your City], and we still test every recipe until it gets an actual audible reaction from someone in the room.
The rules of Bloom
More colour, always
Beige is banned. Every product, every package, every email — if it doesn't spark joy, it doesn't ship.
Taste over looks
Pretty cakes that taste like cardboard? Not here. We do both. And we're smug about it.
Small is the point
We make everything in small batches on purpose. Not because we can't scale. Because we don't want to.
How we got here
The Kitchen Era
First batch of rainbow cupcakes. Sold on Instagram from our actual kitchen. Oven broke twice.
The Lockdown Boom
Turns out people stuck at home want treat boxes. A lot of them. We shipped 3,000 boxes in four months.
The Studio
Moved into a proper commercial kitchen. Hired our first team member. Cried (happy tears) on moving day.
Still Going
12,000+ boxes shipped. Nationwide delivery. Same sprinkle-first philosophy. Bigger whisks.
